MONTHLY NEWS LETTER
Every month, we sit down with WR’s founders, Father and Son for a quiet converstation
Not to talk about trends, but about form, flow, and the design stories behind their latest pieces
We look back on our participation at Maison&Objet in September 2025. We spoke with Eric and Sven about their experiences at the fair, the new products and materials, and the technical aspects of our stand.
How were the first days of the fair for you?
Eric: The first two days were truly a whirlwind! Everything went by so fast, we didn’t know where to start. If every day could be like this, we’d sign up immediately.
Sven: Yes, it was non-stop busy, but also fantastic to speak with so many interested visitors and receive direct feedback.
What did you showcase this year at the fair?
Sven: In addition to our well-known models with different combinations of colors and materials, we presented a selection of our newest products: three poufs, four coffee tables, and two dining tables.
Eric: But our real eye-catcher was the new glass material from Italy. It has a subtle texture and brings elegance and a modern feel, especially in combination with our new Ornella model.
How did the stand setup go?
Sven: The stand layout had been planned and drawn months in advance. This was one of the first times that the plan worked out perfectly, and we followed it almost exactly. On paper, everything can look perfect, but in reality, the layout often feels different. This year, it was just right.
Eric: “Yes, and the setup went smoothly. That allowed us to welcome visitors without stress and with a smile.
Inside Our Maison&Objet 2025 Experience
“From the very first day it was a whirlwind of energy – an experience we’d happily repeat anytime”
Are there any new trends or colors you introduced this year?
Eric: We introduced a new direction. Besides our standard metal colors, we also worked with trend colors. We’re curious to see how they are received, but it certainly opens new possibilities for the future.
Sven: It also provides a lot of inspiration for future collections.
How was the collaboration with your neighbors at the fair?
Sven: Really nice! We were next to Silkha and Versmissen, which created a friendly and inspiring atmosphere.
Eric: It’s always great when neighbors work well together, it makes the fair experience even more enjoyable.
What are your key takeaways from this edition?
Sven: The first days were hectic, but that’s also the best part. It gives an incredible energy boost to interact with so many people.
Eric: And our new glass material and trend colors seem to be well received. That gives us a lot of confidence to keep experimenting and developing our collection further.
Conclusion:
Maison&Objet September 2025 was a dynamic and inspiring edition. In addition to our existing models with renewed color and material combinations, we were able to showcase our latest products and receive immediate feedback from visitors. The new glass material and trend colors attracted attention and provided plenty of inspiration for future collections. Thanks to a well-planned and smoothly executed stand setup, we could experience the fair days with a smile and without stress.
This edition once again confirmed the importance of Furniture fairs as a platform for innovation, trends, and connections.
